Application of quantitative data models in network management


In the telecommunication, especially in the wireless telecommunication, the way of data delivery (i.e. protocol) is indispensable for evaluation indicators—energy consumption, traffic delay, and delivery ratio. While, with the supporting of quantitative data model, this paper designs a frame which could manage the reasonable protocols to perform best during the data transmission. The frame what we called Super-hybrid frame utilizes the Queue Length-Aware (QLA) scheme, Probability Decision Process (PDP) scheme and Priority Strategy and Service Differentiation (PSSD) scheme. Therefore, the frame could not only optimize the performance in different scenarios, but also make the reasonable transmission in the network who contains hetero-priority data packets. For persuasive, the frame is simulated with IEEE 802.15.4.
