PURPOSE Application of a comprehensive, user-friendly, digital computer circulatory model to estimate hemodynamic and ventricular variables. METHODS The closed-loop lumped parameter circulatory model represents the circulation at the level of large vessels. A variable elastance model reproduces ventricular ejection.
