Based on ECT technique and partial least squares regression (PLSR), a new voidage measurement method for gas-oil two-phase flow was proposed. PLSR was utilized to develop the voidage measurement models for given flow patterns. In practical voidage measurement process, according to the flow pattern identification result, a related PLSR based model was selected to calculate the measurement voidage.
