Appendiceal or cecal endometriosis uncommonly presents diagnostic challenges, but rare cases with intestinal metaplasia can mimic mucinous tumors of the appendix. We describe 6 cases of appendiceal or cecal endometriosis with intestinal metaplasia that grossly and microscopically mimicked appendiceal mucinous tumors.
