We calculate dispersion relations for $\bar{D}(0^-)$, $\bar{D}^*(1^-)$, $\bar{D}_0^*(0^+)$ and $\bar{D}_1(1^+)$ mesons in the Dual Chiral Density Wave (DCDW) where the chiral symmetry is spontaneously broken by inhomogeneous chiral condensate. Employing the Bloch's theorem, we show that all the modes have opposite group velocity to the momentum in the low-momentum region and the energy is minimized at non-zero momentum. Furthermore, the magnitude of momentum which realizes the minimum energy is… Expand

D mesons as a probe of Casimir effect for chiral symmetry breaking
• Physics
• Physical Review D

We propose $D$ mesons as probes to investigate finite-volume effects for chiral symmetry breaking at zero and finite temperatures. By using the $2+1$-flavor linear sigma model with constituent lightExpand
Novel dual chiral density wave in nuclear matter based on a parity doublet structure
• Physics
• 2018
We study the Dual Chiral Density Wave (DCDW) in nuclear matter using a hadronic model with the parity doublet structure. We first extend the ordinary DCDW ansatz so as to incorporate the effect of anExpand
Mesic nuclei with a heavy antiquark
• Physics
• 2017
The binding system of a hadron and a nucleus is a topic of great interest for investigating the hadron properties. In the heavy-flavor region, the attraction between a $P(=\bar{D},B)$ meson and aExpand
Kondo effect in charm and bottom nuclei
We discuss the Kondo effect for isospin-exchange interaction between a $\bar{D}$, $B$ meson and a valence nucleon in charm/bottom atomic nuclei including the discrete energy-levels for valenceExpand
Spin-isospin Kondo effects for $\Sigma_{c}$ and $\Sigma_{c}^{\ast}$ baryons and $\bar{D}$ and $\bar{D}^{\ast}$ mesons
We study the Kondo effect for a $\Sigma_{c}$ ($\Sigma_{c}^{\ast}$) baryon in nuclear matter. In terms of the spin and isospin (\$\mathrm{SU}(2)_{\mathrm{spin}} \timesExpand
