The spectrophotometric method for computing the apparent stellar diameters, proposed by Chalonge and Divan (1950) and modified by Fracassini and Pasinetti (1967) has been applied to 172 B5V-A5V stars (single and belonging to galactic clusters) of the Catalogue of Geneva Observatory (Rufener, 1971). In the straight line diagrams log α″ vsm, drawn for the stars of the same spectral type, it is possible to identify some peculiar stars (with peculiarities in the diameter or monochromatic brightness…

Apparent radii and other parameters for 116 A5V-F5V stars of the catalogue of Geneva Observatory
Preceding research on 172 B5V-A5V stars (Fracassiniet al., 1973) has been extended to cover 116 A5V-F5V stars of the catalogue of Geneva Observatory (Rufener, 1971), to test the validity of the
A Comparison of Direct and Indirect Methods of Determination of Stellar Angular Diameters
Several direct and indirect methods for the determination of stellar apparent diameters have been developed in the past; they are summarized in Table 1 by Fracassini, et al. (1981) with a code number
Radii of some Ap, Am and A stars
Based on the observed energy curves of nine Ap stars, three Am stars, four normal A stars and one F0 V magnetic star, their radii have been estimated.Thence, the bolometric magnitudesMbo1 have been
Photoelectric lunar-occultation observations of several close binary stars
The results of photoelectric lunar-occultation observations for several stars are presented. Some of these are obvious close binary systems, while others are suspected close binaries or multiple
