Abstract In a 7 day old infant with origin of the right pulmonary artery from the aorta, the flow to the anomalously connected right lung was estimated to equal systemic flow, so that flow to the single lung was about twice normal as was vascular resistance. Systemic pressure levels were present in the left lung, a small left to right shunt occurred through the foramen ovale, and a small right to left shunt through the ductus.
