OBJECTIVES We investigated whether Adamantiades-Behcet's disease (ABD) is related to impaired aortic (Ao) elastic properties and left ventricular (LV) function. BACKGROUND Adamantiades-Behcet's disease is an inflammatory disorder characterized by vasculitis leading to vascular complications and, rarely, myocarditis.
