Anxiety in liver transplant patients.

Abstract

Anxiety is a common symptom experienced by patients recovering from a liver transplant. The times of liver biopsy and organ rejection were described by 33 participants as their most anxiety-producing experiences. This was measured by the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and a visual analogue scale.
