A one-section, birefringent prism with an angle theta + 90 = phi e + rho + 90, where rho is the angle the extraordinary ray will be refracted relative to the ordinary wave and phi e is the Brewster+s s angle for the extraordinary ray, such that the extraordinary ray will be incident at its Brewster+s s angle on the last prism face before it leaves the prism.
