Abstract

Several antiplatelet drugs (aspirin, sulfinpyrazone, hydroxychloroquine, dipyridamole, BL-3459, pyridinolcarbamate) were assayed for their ability to prevent the generalized Shwartzman reaction initiated by endotoxin in the pregnant rat, and compared to glucocorticoids (dexamethasone, hydrocortisone).
