Persistently positive antiphospholipid antibodies in association with thromboses and/or pregnancy morbidity is the hallmark of the antiphospholipid syndrome. The management of antiphospholipid antibody-positive patients has been focused on utilizing anti-thrombotic medications such as heparin or warfarin.
