Tricholoma species, known as odorous mushrooms, are consumed in Anatolia as well as in the world. The antioxidant activity of extracts of Tricholoma fracticum, Tricholoma imbricatum and Tricholoma terreum was determined using five complementary tests: β-carotene/linoleic acid, DPPH⋅ scavenging, ABTS⋅+ scavenging, ferrous ion chelating assay and cupric-reducing antioxidant capacity assay. In the β-carotene/linoleic acid assay, the hexane extract of T. imbricatum showed 93.8 ± 1.4% lipid…
Phenolic profile, antioxidant, anticholinesterase, and anti-tyrosinase activities of the various extracts of Ferula elaeochytris and Sideritis stricta
ABSTRACT In this study, the antioxidant, anticholinesterase, and anti-tyrosinase properties of (hexane, acetone, methanol, and water) extracts of Ferula elaeochytris and Sideritis stricta were
Phenolic profiles, antioxidant, and anticholinesterase activities of three Gloeophyllum species with chemometric approach.
The results of these studies demonstrated that the methanol and the n-hexane extracts had a potential application as alternative natural products for pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic industries.
Objective : From ancient times, Auricularia auricula has been used as food and also as herbal medicine in China. The hot water extract of Auricularia auricula fruiting bodies were evaluated for free
Investigation of Chemical Composition, Antioxidant, Anticholinesterase and Anti-urease activities of Euphorbia helioscopia
The water extract of E. helioscopia showed higher antioxidant activity than BHA and α-tocopherol in β-carotene-linoleic acid, DPPH • , ABTS •+ and CUPRAC assays and the anticholinesterase and anti-urease activities were tested against acetylcholinestersterase, butyrylcholinease and urease enzymes, spectrophotometrically.
Fatty Acid Composition and Antioxidant Activity of Tricholoma Imbricatum and T. Focale
Edible mushrooms are one of the important food source because of their tastes, and having high concentration of fatty acids and the other nutrients. In this study, fatty acid composition and
Phenolic compounds and antioxidant capacities of 10 common edible flowers from China.
Paeonia suffruticosa and Flos lonicerae showed the highest total phenolic content and TPC was strongly correlated with antioxidant capacity, which indicated that phenolics were the major contributors to the antioxidant activity of the selected edible flowers.
A new fatty acid ester from an edible mushroom Rhizopogon luteolus
The study indicates that R. luteolus can be used in food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries and exhibited higher antioxidant and anticholinesterase activities than previously reported.

Antioxidant activity and total phenolics of edible mushroom extracts
Phenolic compound concentration and antioxidant activities of edible and medicinal mushrooms from Korea.
DPPH activities was significantly correlated with total content of phenolic compounds in edible mushrooms, while in medicinal mushrooms there was a significant correlation (p < 0.01) between SOD activity and total concentration of Phenolic compounds.
