The antioxidant activities of five medicinal plants (Ampelopsis sinica, Ampelopsis humiliforlia var. heterophylla, Potentilla freyniana, Selaginella labordei and Chrysanthemum multiflorum), used in the Hubei province of China, have been investigated using both enzymatic and non-enzymatic in vitro antioxidant assays.
