  • The alcoholic (methanolic and ethanolic) extracts of Cantharellus cibarius were evaluated for their antioxidant, antimicrobial and phytochemical potentials. Both extracts were found to contain phenols, terpenoids, flavonoids, alkaloids, anthraquinones and saponin. Both extracts had antioxidant activity, which was determined by DPPH radical scavenging activity assay.
