Myeloma-spleen cell hybrids (hybridomas) producing antibody to mouse immunoglobulin allotypes have been labeled with fluorescent microspheres coupled with myeloma protein antigens. The ratio of specific to nonspecific microsphere binding by viable hybridoma cells was about 100:1.
