With extensive variational Monte Carlo simulation, we show that the uniform resonating valence bond state(U-RVB) on square lattice is actually antiferromagnetic long range ordered. The ordered moment is estimated to be $m\approx 0.17$. Finite size scaling analysis on lattice up to lattice size of $50\times 50$ shows that the spin structure factor at the antiferromagnetic ordering wave vector follows perfectly the $\mathrm{S}_{\mathrm{q}=(\pi,\pi)} \simeq S_{0}+\alpha (1/L)^{5/4}$ behavior…

Understanding the nature of the excitation spectrum in quantum spin liquids is of fundamental importance, in particular for the experimental detection of candidate materials. However, current
Mott transition and electronic excitation of the Gutzwiller wavefunction
The Mott transition is usually considered as resulting from the divergence of the effective mass of the quasiparticle in the Fermi-liquid theory; the dispersion relation around the Fermi level is

Entanglement entropy of critical spin liquids.
It is found that entanglement entropy of the projected Fermi sea state violates the boundary law, with S(2) enhanced by a logarithmic factor, an unusual result for a bosonic wave function reflecting the presence of emergent fermions.

It is shown that joint spin-orbital excitations in an ordered phase with coexisting antiferromagnetic and alternating orbital order introduce topological constraints for the hole propagation and will thus radically modify the transport properties in doped Mott insulators where hole motion implies simultaneous spin and orbital excitations.
Effect of the exchange hole on the Gutzwiller approximation in one dimension
The Gutzwiller approximate solution to the Gutzwiller wavefunction yields exact results for the Gutzwiller wavefunction in the infinite-dimensional limit. Implicit in the Gutzwiller approximation is
