Anticancer drugs are defined as drugs which are used for treating of cancer. Cancer can be diagnosed by different methods. Cancer can be cured by anticancer drugs like bone marrow depressants, lymphocytopenia, GIT stomatitis, Anticancer drugs are also known as antineoplastic drugs which are used not only in the form of oral medicine, they can also be given in different forms like immunotherapy, radiotherapy for treatment of tumors and metastatic cancer. Cancer can be cured by different ways…

HER2-Targeted Antibody Treatment for Ovarian Cancer Future Opportunities

A new model description of this disease was proposed that combined both histopathological and molecular features and classified epithelial ovarian cancers into two broad categories designated Type I and Type II tumors.

Cardiac Failure Caused by the Association of Carboplatin and Gme citabineChemotherapy in a Patient with Metastatic Urothelial Cancer: AC ase Report

A seventy-seven year-old man, who had no cardiovascular comorbidity, was treated with Carboplatin and Gemcitabine infusions for a metastatic urothelial cancer and presented a heart failure after blood infusion two weeks after the end of chemotherapy.

Letrozole and Curcumin Loaded-PLGA Nanoparticles: A Therapeutic Strategy for Endometriosis

Let-Cur NPs treatment in vivo was successful in reducing endometrial glands and micro-vessels density in the peritoneum to a considerable extent, thereby indicating significant regression of the disease.

Point-of-Care for Therapeutic Drug Monitoring of Antineoplastic Drugs

This practice allows for rapid medical intervention in case of toxicity-related issues and/or adjustment of dosage to better fit the therapeutic demand.

The Dual PI3K/mTOR Inhibitor NVP-BEZ235 Enhances the Antitumoral Activity of Gemcitabine in Human Pancreatic Cancer Cell Lines

Combining gemcitabine with dual PI3K/mTOR inhibitors like NVP-BEZ2235 improved the efficacy on growth inhibition in human pancreatic cell lines especially by sequential application of both agents.

Investigation of the Cell Stabilization and the Epithelial to MesenchymalTransition Effect of Flavopiridol in Mouse Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma

SqCLCs cells are uniformly highly sensitive to flavopiridol induced cytotoxicity during prolonged 72 h exposure to clinically achievable concentrations of this drug.

Ultrastructural and Antioxidant Studies of Etoposide Treated Kidney of Rat

Etoposide does not cause nephrotoxic effect at given dose level, and biochemical finding’s in etoposide treated kidney displayed significant increase in Glutathione-STransferase (GST) and decrease in glutathione reductase (GR), gamma glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) activities however, glutathion (GSH), Catalase and Lipid peroxidation showed non-significant decrease.

Simultaneous Fractionated Cisplatin and Radiation Therapy in the Treatment of Advanced Operable Stage III and IV Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Oral Cavity and Pharynx

Overall, CTRT experienced significantly less toxicity and showed trends toward higher clinical complete response and histologic complete response compared to control, and had trends toward less distant metastases and less death with disease compared tocontrol.

TDP1/TOP1 Ratio as a Promising Indicator for the Response of Small Cell Lung Cancer to Topotecan

This study provides the first cellular analyses of TDP1 and TOP1 in SCLC and suggests the potential utility of T DP1/TOP1 ratio to assess the response of SclC to topotecan.

Dual Trigger Crosslinked Micelles Based Polyamidoamine for Effective Paclitaxel Delivery

The results demonstrated that the degradation of polyamidoamines could be fine-tuned by an enzyme-active peptide, thus increasing the anti-tumour efficacy and pave the way for development of highly controllable targeted drug delivery platforms.
