OBJECTIVES To measure antibacterial action of photoactivated disinfection (PAD) on endodontic bacteria in planktonic suspension and root canals. METHODS Four bacteria, Fusobacterium nucleatum,Peptostreptococcus micros, Prevotella intermedia and Streptococcus intermedius, were tested in suspension.
