A new series of isoxazole derivatives were synthesized by synthesizing various chalcone derivatives and cyclizing them to give resultant isoxazole derivatives (TPI1TPI20).. All the synthesized derivatives were characterized with FTIR and NMR spectral analysis and evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activity in vivo (carrageenan induced paw ooedema method in rats).
