The anti-inflammatory effect of Sargassum micracanthum water extract (SMWE) was investigated using lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammatory response in this study. The murine macrophage cell line RAW 264.7 cells were used and MTT assay was performed to measure the cell proliferation ability. The secretion of nitric oxide (NO), tumor necrosis factor- (TNF-), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and IL- was measured in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells by ELISA. The expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase…
Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Grateloupia imbricata Holmes Ethanol Extract on LPS-Induced RAW 264.7 Cells
Results suggest that GIHEE can be used as a potential anti-inflammatory therapeutic and reduce phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinases.
Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Annona muricata Leaf Ethanol Extracts
Results suggest that AME treatment strongly inhibits LPS-induced inflammation through inhibition of NF-κB activation, suggesting AME could be a potential candidate for treatment of inflammatory disease as a nutraceutical drug.
Anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effects of Danpitang in RAW 264.7 cell
The anti-oxidative and the anti-inflammatory effects of Danpitang(DPT) extract in RAW 264.7 macrophages are investigated and it is suggested that products, if used for certain period, should be safe for the human body.
The anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory Activites of Changchulgeumryeontang Extract
This study investigated the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory activities of Changchulgeumryeontang (CCGRT) extract and CCGTR was found to have high DPPH free radical scavenging ability.
Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Ethanol Extract from Grateloupia elliptica Holmes on Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Inflammatory Responses in RAW 264.7 Cells and Mice Ears
Results suggest that GEHEE exerts significant anti-inflammatory activity via inhibition of NF-κB and MAPKs activation and may be a potential anti- inflammatory therapeutic material.
Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Alginate Oligosaccharides Produced by an Alginate-Degrading Enzyme from Shewanella oneidensis PKA1008 on LPS-Induced RAW 264.7 Cells
Alginate oligosaccharides are a promising anti-inflammatory agent that reduces the formation of ear edema at 36 h compared to samples examined at 0 h, as well as dermal thickness and mast cell numbers in a histological analysis.
Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities of Rosa multiflora
Studies on antioxidant activity, antibacterial activity and antiseptic effect have been reported on Rosa muliflora flower, but research on anti-inflammatory activity is insufficient. The purpose of
Sargassum Seaweed as a Source of Anti-Inflammatory Substances and the Potential Insight of the Tropical Species: A Review
This review aims to explore the potential of Sargassum’s anti-inflammatory activity, not only in crude extracts but also in sulfated polysaccharides and purified compounds.
Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Properties of Ethanol Extracts of Raw, Blanched, Steamed, and Sous-Vide Cooked Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) in LPS or H2O2-Treated RAW264.7 Cells
Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) is a plant belonging to the Malvaceae family. All parts of okra, including the pod, leaf, and branch, are edible, with the pod being especially enriched with sugars,
Anti-Inflammatory Effects and Their Correlation with Microbial Community of Shindari, a Traditional Jeju Beverage
The anti-inflammatory effect of S3 was suggested to be mediated through the negative regulation of mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling (MAPKs) and nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) signaling pathways.

Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Extracts from Ligustrum ovalifolium H. Leaves on RAW264.7 Macrophages
The present results show that LOH ethanol extract has potent anti- inflammatory effects on RAW264.7 macrophages, and suggest that the anti-inflammatory effects of LOH extracts may be related to the inhibition of LPS-stimulated ROS and NO production.
Anti-inflammatory activity of Camellia japonica oil.
Results indicate that CJ oil exerts anti-inflammatory effects by downregulating the expression of iNOS and COX-2 genes through inhibition of NF-κB and AP-1 signaling.
Anti-inflammatory Activity of Medicinal Plant Extracts
The study was conducted to investigate candidate materials as anti-inflammation agent from plant resources. Activities of 33 plant parts extracts with the final concentration of 5μg/ml were evaluated
Effects of the Essential Oil Components from Ligusticum chuanxiong on Proinflammatory Mediators of RAW264.7 Macrophage Cells
The essential oil fraction was obtained from the underground parts o of Ligusticum chuanxiong (Umbelliferae) by steam distillation, and its main components, Z-ligustilide and butylidene phthalide,
Sargassumol, a novel antioxidant from the brown alga Sargassum micracanthum
A new free-radical scavenger, designated sargassumol, is isolated from the methanolic extract of S. micracanthum, which belongs to the large brown algae, and its molecular formula was established to be C20H20O13 by high-resolution FAB-mass measurement in combination with 1H and 13C NMR data.
