  • Objective: The accumulation of advanced glycation end products (AGEs) contributes to the pathogenesis of diabetic complications. This study was performed to evaluate the in vitro and in vivo effects of Japanese chestnut (Castanea crenata) inner skin water extract (CWE) against AGE formation.
