AIM AND OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study is to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effect of leaves of Oryza sativa Linn. by carrying out the pharmacological studies with the aqueous extract of leaves of Oryza sativa Linn. While over-the-counter painkillers can be really helpful, and in some cases may be the best option, they can also cause gastrointestinal upset and definitely aren’t the best long-term strategy for coping with chronic pain. The goal is, of course, to try and help relieve pain…

PHYTOCHEMICAL SCREENING AND EVALUATION OF ANALGESIC, ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY OF ALCOHOLIC EXTRACT OF JASMINUM SAMBAC ON ALBINO RATS
TLDR
Acute toxicity test showed that the methanol extract of its flowers may be safe for pharmacological uses and provided some justification for the folkloric use of the plant in several communities for conditions such as pain and inflammations.
Evaluation of the anti-inflammatory activity of Ocimum sanctum Linn (Tulsi) in albino rats
TLDR
The reduction of edema by O. sanctum was better than that of the standard anti-inflammatory drug, indomethacin and on co-administration marginally improved the anti- inflammatory profile of indometHacin.

TLDR
AXF shows antioxidant, antinociceptive, and anti-inflammatory activities, supporting the folkloric usage of the plant to treat various inflammatory diseases.
Evaluation of anti-inflammatory activity in ethanolic extract of Coriandrum sativum L. using carrageenan induced paw oedema in albino rats
TLDR
The anti-inflammatory activity is more effective in Group V Carrageenan induction with oral administration of Coriandrum sativum ethanolic leaf extract of 400mg/kg/i.p.
Comparative study of anti-inflammatory activity of aqueous and methanolic extracts of hibiscus cannabinus leaf (Malvaceae)
TLDR
An anti-inflammatory activity was found in both aqueous and methanolic extract of Hibiscus cannabinus leaves and both MHCL and AHCL extracts showed significant inhibition of rat paw edema in dose-dependent manner.

TLDR
Findings suggest that aqueous extract of Polygonum minus possesses potent anti-inflammatory activities.
Evaluation of anti-inflammatory activity of the plant extract Smithia Sensitiva
TLDR
The MESS at a concentration of 400μg/ml showed potent activity on comparing with the standard drug and both the methods showed significant antiinflammatory property of the methanolic extract.

TLDR
The present study summarizes the role of the flavonoid, tricin in the modulation of the expression of different inflammatory mediators and revealed that the inhibitory effects on cell signaling pathways are responsible for its anti-inflammatory activity.
