This paper develops an ontologically rich explanation of the inner mechanics of the annihilation process, starting from a non-local hidden-variable (NLHV) design. This explains the process in terms of the handedness of matter and antimatter, the interaction of the electron and antielectron as they approach, the collapse of their discrete force structures and their reformation into photon structures. The process is more one of remanufacture than destruction. The resulting Cordus theory…

Internal mechanics of pair production: Remanufacture of discrete fields in a NLHV design
A theory is presented for the deeper mechanics of pair production. The specific area under examination is the conversion of a photon into an electron-antielectron (positron) pair. The theory is
Fundamental processes of photon emission in a NLHV design
  • Physics
  • 2014
A conceptual theory is developed for the processes of photon emission and absorption, in a non-local hidden-variable (NLHV) design called the Cordus theory. The theory predicts different mechanisms
Pair Production Explained in a Hidden Variable Theory
Pair production is a key component of mass-energy equivalence yet the deeper processes whereby photons transform into matter-antimatter pairs are unknown. A theory is presented for the mechanics of
Inner Processes of Photon Emission and Absorption
Problem- There are deep unanswered questions about photon emission, specifically how the field structures of the photon emerge from the electron. While this problem cannot be answered from within
Energy Conversion Mechanics for Photon Emission per Non-Local Hidden-Variable Theory
Problem-Energy conversion processes in optical phenomena are incompletely explained by wave theory or quantum mechanics. There is a need for ontologically rich explanations at the level of individual
Towards Unification of Fundamental Interactions Using Non-Local Hidden-Variable Theory
Problem: The mechanisms whereby force operates are poorly understood at the fundamental level. This is reflected in the difficulty of finding a single coherent theory for explaining all the
Asymmetrical Neutrino Induced Decay of Nucleons
Problem- The operation of neutrino detectors shows that nuclide decay rates can be affected by loading of neutrino species. However the underlying principles of this are poorly understood. Purpose-
Deeper mechanisms for force and the fundamental interactions from a NLHV perspective
Problem: The mechanisms whereby force operates are poorly understood at the fundamental level. This is reflected in the difficulty of finding a single coherent theory for explaining all the
Hidden Variable Theory Supports Variability in Decay Rates of Nuclides
PROBLEM- The orthodox expectation is for decay rates to be strictly constant for all types of decay (β+, β-, EC, α). However empirical results show strong evidence for nuclides having variable decay
A Physical Explanation for Particle Spin
CONTEXT The spin of a particle is physically manifest in multiple phenomena. For quantum mechanics (QM), spin is an intrinsic property of a point particle, but an ontological explanation is lacking.
