Polymerization of 1-methyl-1-(1-naphthyl)-2,3-benzosilacyclobut-2-ene as a monomer by n-butyllithium and diphenylmethylsilyllithium gave polymers with reasonably well controlled molecular weight. Polymers from the (+)-monomer by these organolithium compounds were optically active with similar optical rotations, but with rather low stereoregularity. Ring-opening reactions of the compound by n-butyllithium and diphenylmethylsilyllithium, and that by benzyllithium as a model propagation reaction… Expand

Selective Si-C(sp3 ) Bond Cleavage in (Aminomethyl)silanes by Carbanionic Nucleophiles and Its Stereochemical Course.
TLDR
A new type of Si-C(sp3 ) bond cleavage in bench-stable (aminomethyl)silanes with common organolithium reagents as nucleophiles has now been identified and can be used for the targeted synthesis of enantiomerically pure tetraorganosilanes, which are otherwise difficult to access. Expand
Stereocontrolled synthesis of tertiary silanes via optically pure 1,3,2-oxazasilolidine derivatives
Optically pure 1,3,2-oxazasilolidine derivatives were synthesized from a chiral 1,2-amino alcohol. These heterocyclic compounds containing a stereogenic silicon atom produced tertiary silanes withExpand
Synthesis of optically active polymer with p-stereogenic phosphine units.
TLDR
The chirality of P-stereogenic centers was transferred to the m-phenylene-ethynylene linkers by complexation because of the prohibition of the rotary motion of the bisphosphine-Pd unit. Expand
Niobium Complexes in Organic Transformations: From Stoichiometric Reactions to Catalytic [2+2+2] Cycloaddition Reactions
Niobium complexes in organic reactions have received a lot of attention in recent years. Niobium is one of the early transition metals, which possess unique reactivity distinct from that of otherExpand
