A good part of the postcranial skeleton of an Albian-Cenomanian primitive titanosaurid from Patagonia is described and discussed. The posterior dorsal vertebrae are high, with slight opisthocoelious centrum, a tall neural spine and hyposphene-hypanthrum articulations, The medial and distal caudal vertebrae are amphylatian, bearing flat, quadrangular neural spines. Ischium and pubis show clear titanosaurid features. Some characters of the dorsal vertebrae and pubis resemble those of Argyrosaurus…
ON A TITANOSAURID (DINOSAURIA, SAUROPODA) VERTEBRAL COLUMN FROM THE BAURU GROUP, LATE CRETACEOUS OF BRAZIL
1 ABSTRACT: A new titanosaurid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous continental deposits of the Bauru Group is described. Trigonosaurus pricei n.gen., n.sp., is based on two specimens, both collected at
Anatomy of the basal titanosaur (Dinosauria, Sauropoda) Andesaurus delgadoi from the mid-Cretaceous (Albian–early Cenomanian) Río Limay Formation, Neuquén Province, Argentina: implications for titanosaur systematics
TLDR
The holotype of Andesaurus delgadoi is re-describe, comprising dorsal, sacral, and caudal vertebrae, as well as limb and pelvic elements, and putative titanosaur synapomorphies are recognized.
A NEW TITANOSAUR SAUROPOD FROM THE LATE CRETACEOUS OF NEUQUÉN, PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA 1
TLDR
A cladistic phylogenetic analysis placed Muyelensaurus pecheni gen. et sp.nov.
A New Titanosaur (Dinosauria, Sauropoda) from the Upper Cretaceous (Cerro Lisandro Formation) of Mendoza Province, Argentina
Abstract. Quetecsaurus rusconii gen. et sp. nov. is a new titanosaur (Dinosauria, Sauropoda) from the Neuquén Basin of Mendoza Province, Argentina. The specimen comes from red mudstones of the
A new sauropod (Macronaria, Titanosauria) from the Adamantina Formation, Bauru Group, Upper Cretaceous of Brazil and the phylogenetic relationships of Aeolosaurini
TLDR
According to the results of the phylogenetic analysis performed in this work, the taxa Panamericansaurus, Rinconsaurus, and Maxakalisaurus are also nested within Aeolosaurini, being more basal than Aeolosaurus and Gondwanatitan.
A New Sauropod: Tastavinsaurus Sanzi Gen. Et Sp. Nov. from the Early Cretaceous (Aptian) of Spain
Abstract The new sauropod dinosaur Tastavinsaurus sanzi, gen. et sp. nov., from the early Aptian of Spain is described. The holotype is a partially articulated skeleton of an adult individual
A New Giant Titanosauria (Dinosauria: Sauropoda) from the Late Cretaceous Bauru Group, Brazil
TLDR
The phylogenetic analysis presented here reveals that Austroposeidon magnificus is the sister group of the Lognkosauria, and CT scans reveal some new osteological internal features in the cervical vertebrae such as the intercalation of dense growth rings with camellae, reported for the first time in sauropods.
