Percolation theory has become a useful tool for the analysis of large-scale wireless networks. We investigate the fundamental problem of characterizing the critical density lambda<sub>c</sub> <sup>(d)</sup> for d-dimensional Poisson random geometric graphs in continuum percolation theory.
