The paper analyzes the impact of geothermal exploitation in Dongda region of Guanzhong Basin on ground temperature by means of thermal infrared remote sensing technology and brightness temperature method. Through quantitative inversion of US LandsatETM remote sensing data, it is found that an area of 0.51 km2 has seen temperature rise due to geothermal exploitation, 3.72°C higher than mean temperature.
