We present a comprehensive analysis and extraction of the unpolarized transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions, which are fundamental constituents of the TMD factorization theorem. We provide a general review of the theory of TMD distributions, and present a new scheme of scale fixation. This scheme, called the $$\zeta $$ζ-prescription, allows to minimize the impact of perturbative logarithms in a large range of scales and does not generate undesired power corrections…

Production of Z bosons in the parton branching method

Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) parton distributions obtained from the Parton Branching (PB) method are combined with next-to-leading-order (NLO) calculations of Drell-Yan (DY) production. We

Systematic analysis of double-scale evolution

A bstractOften the factorization of differential cross sections results in the definition of fundamental hadronic functions/distributions which have a double-scale evolution, as provided by a pair of

Global analysis of the Sivers functions at NLO+NNLL in QCD

We perform global fit to the quark Sivers function within the transverse momentum dependent (TMD) factorization formalism in QCD. We simultaneously fit Sivers asymmetry data from Semi-Inclusive Deep

Transverse momentum dependent PDFs at N3LO

Abstract We compute the quark and gluon transverse momentum dependent parton distribution functions at next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N3LO) in perturbative QCD. Our calculation is based on

Proper TMD factorization for quarkonia production: pp → ηc, b as a study case

Abstract Quarkonia production in different high-energy processes has recently been proposed in order to probe gluon transverse-momentum-dependent parton distribution and fragmentation functions

Renormalization of Transverse-Momentum-Dependent Parton Distribution on the Lattice.

To calculate the transverse-momentum-dependent parton distribution functions (TMDPDFs) from lattice QCD, an important goal yet to be realized, it is crucial to establish a viable nonperturbative

Nonperturbative determination of the Collins-Soper kernel from quasitransverse-momentum-dependent wave functions

In the framework of large-momentum effective theory at one-loop matching accuracy, we perform a lattice calculation of the Collins-Soper kernel which governs the rapidity evolution of
