Using the fast sampling, rapid filtration apparatus (FSRFA) recently developed in our laboratory (Berteloot et al., 1991.J. Membrane Biol. 122:111–125), we have studied the kinetic characteristics of Na+-d-glucose cotransport in brush-border membrane vesicles isolated from normal adult human jejunum.
