The authors consider methods for analyzing event histories when such histories are both left- and right-censored. They first discuss the advantages and disadvantages of current-status data and then review the fitting of proportional hazards and accelerated life models to such data. An example is provided concerning age at menarche in northeastern England in 1967. (ANNOTATION)
