The phylogenetic relationships of 43 species in the subtribe Carpomyina (39 Rhagoletis spp., plus Carpomya schineri (Loew), Oedicarena latifrons (Wulp), Rhagoletotrypeta pastranai Aczel, and Zonosemata electa (Say)) are examined using morphological and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) characters.
