Concentration profiles after liquid-state interdiffusion were determined using an electron probe microanalyzer for diffusion couples of ternary oxide systems with an average composition -40CaO2OAl2O3-40SiO2 (wt%) at r=1370° to 1550°C. Multicomponent diffusion equations were derived for three multiatomic ion models in terms of tracer diffusion coefficients of the constituent elements.
