BACKGROUND In previous studies, psoriasis has been reported to be associated with metabolic syndrome. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to evaluate risk factors for metabolic syndrome in psoriasis patients and to compare the prevalence of metabolic syndrome in psoriasis and control groups.
