Analgesic , anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity of Cissus quadrangularis
@inproceedings{Vijay2010AnalgesicA, title={Analgesic , anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity of Cissus quadrangularis}, author={Priyanka Vijay and Rekha Vijayvergia}, year={2010} }
This study was intended to evaluate the analgesic anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity of ethanolic extract of Cissus quadrangularis in experimental standard modals i.e. albino rats following oral administration. The results showed that the ethanolic extract significantly reduce the edema induced by carrageenan within 1 to 5 hrs. post dosing at all the dose levels used. On the analgesic property acetic acid induce writhing was significantly reduce in the formalin test, the extract also…

Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Methanolic Leaf Extract of Kigelia Africana (Lam.) Benth and Stem Bark Extract of Acacia Hockii De Wild in Mice
- Biology
- 2016
The present study demonstrated potent antiinflammatory activities of methanolic extracts of K. africana and A. hockii in a dose-dependent manner, which supports their traditional use among the Embu and Mbeere communities in Kenya and recommends their ethnomedicinal use in the management of inflammation.
