An unusual case of migration of a mesh implant used for recurrent parastomal hernia repair is discussed in this report. The patient had undergone Miles’ procedure for colorectal carcinoma in 1993. Three years after the initial procedure he underwent surgery for stomal prolapse and during the following three years he was operated upon twice for parastomal hernia.
