The effect of air flow rate on the deposition of inhalation aerosol particles in a modified 'Kirk Lung' has been studied. Two commercial products were used. The amount depositied in the mouthpiece and throat regions decreases with increasing flow rate. The amount in the collector rises to maximum of approximately 50%.
