We have studied the biological and receptor binding properties of a human alpha 2-interferon (HuIFN-alpha 2) analogue, [Ala30,32,33] HuIFN-alpha 2, which is shown in the accompanying paper (1) to be biologically inactive on homologous cells. Here we demonstrate that this analogue is also devoid of biological activity on bovine MDBK cells.
