Electrophoretic mobility control (EMC) was used to alleviate the adverse effect of the ion-pairing agent heptafluorobutyric acid (HFBA) in the liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS) analysis of aminoglycosides.
