An indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay termed rnPRRS ELISA using baculovirus-expressed and affinity-purified viral nucleocapsid protein (rNC) antigen was developed for detecting antibodies against porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) in swine sera.
