In piezoelectric energy harvesting (PEH), with the use of the nonlinear technique named synchronized switching harvesting on inductor (SSHI), the harvesting efficiency can be greatly enhanced. Furthermore, the introduction of its self-powered feature makes this technique more applicable for standalone systems.
