A number of improvements have been added to the existing analytical model of hysteresis loops defined in parametric form. In particular, three phase shifts are included in the model, which permits us to tilt the hysteresis loop smoothly by the required angle at the split point as well as to smoothly change the curvature of the loop. As a result, the error of approximation of a hysteresis loop by the improved model does not exceed 1%, which is several times less than the error of the existing…

Hysteresis modeling and compensation of a rotary series elastic actuator with nonlinear stiffness.
TLDR
A rotary SEA (rSEA) with nonlinear stiffness is proposed and a concept called "virtual deformation" is introduced to mathematically transform the nonlinear curve into a polyline hysteresis model, which eases torque estimation with respect to the deformation of the rSEA.
Multi-stroke anti-hysteresis algorithm based on inverse model.
TLDR
A multi-stroke compensation algorithm combined with the inverse model is proposed to establish a mathematical model that can describe any stroke and verify that the above model applies to any unknown stroke, thereby realizing multi- stroke compensation.

Analytical model for the approximation of hysteresis loop and its application to the scanning tunneling microscope
TLDR
An analysis of the loop approximating function was carried out; the parameters and characteristics of the model were defined; it was shown that with piezomanipulators of certain hysteresis loop types, there is no difference in heat production.
Efficient Estimation of Elliptical Hysteresis with Application to the Characterization of Heat Stress
When biological systems undergo hysteretic behavior of stress and recovery due to global warming or other changes in environment and resources, modeling hysteresis becomes increasingly important. A
Compensation of Scanner Creep and Hysteresis for AFM Nanomanipulation
TLDR
Experimental results show that this approach effectively reduces the spatial uncertainties associated with creep and hysteresis, and supports automated, computer-controlled manipulation operations that otherwise would fail.
Feedforward correction of nonlinearities in piezoelectric scanner constructions and its experimental verification.
TLDR
An attempt to minimize nonlinear effects of piezoelectrical actuators by recognizing the relation between scan range and voltage magnitude in a scanner specific function by utilizing a strain gauge sensor system.
Dynamics of a balanced rotor under the action of an elastic force with a hysteresis characteristic
Recently, the constructions of rotors rotating on passive-type magnetic bearings designed with the use of high-temperature superconductors have been developed [1, 2]. One still open problem in the
Aging and the Double Hysteresis Loop of PbλCa1-λTiO3 Ceramics
Double hysteresis loops were observed in a solid solution, Pb0.5Ca0.5TiO3, which was held at room temperature for several hours after cooling from a high temperature (200°C.). To discover the
