AIM To validate the role of nuclear medicine (NM) imaging in hip periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) of hip arthroplasties. MATERIALS AND METHODS This was a retrospective study of 235 consecutive patients referred to NM for investigation of a symptomatic hip prosthesis.
