In this paper, the re-collision probability approach is used to describe the spectrally dependant multiple scattered radiation field of a forest canopy. This new approach is incorporated into the FLAIR model. Such advances to radiative transfer modelling is required to better exploit the potential of Hyperspectral remote sensing for monitoring canopy biochemical indicators, such as chlorophyll concentration and equivalent water content.
