This paper presents an energy sentient methodology for mapping and deploying IoT applications on sensor devices installed in a target environment. The deployment decision support is part of the WuKong intelligent middleware which is designed to automatically discover and manage smart sensor devices. Given a pre-defined flow-based service process, WuKong will select and set up the most efficient configuration for the application using the service-oriented paradigm.
