Type especimens of the Biologia Centrali-Americana lepturine Cerambycidae are redescribed and most are generically reassigned. New combinations are also listed for other Neotropical species. Three genera and one species are described as new.
O gênero Strangalia Audinet-Serville no Norte e Centro-Oeste do Brasil (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Lepturinae)
TLDR
The species of the genus Strangalia from northern and central Brazil are revised and two new synonyms are proposed. Expand
Phylogenetic revision of the floricolous longhorn beetle genus Strangalidium Giesbert (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae)
TLDR
This study is the first that integrates characters codified with geometric morphometric methods for inferring the phylogeny of any group of Cerambycidae, and Strangalidium is recovered as paraphyletic, forming a clade with Strangalia Dejean. Expand
Redescriptions, new combinations, synonymies, and new records of South American Lepturini (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lepturinae)
TLDR
Some Neotropical Lepturini are studied and a key to Argentinian genera and species is provided. Expand
Notas sinonímicas em Lepturini sul-americanos (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Lepturinae)
New synonyms proposed: Strangalia flavocincta (Thomson, 1860) = Ophistomis tristis Melzer, 1922 syn. nov. = O. latifasciata Melzer, 1926 syn. nov.; Strangalia succincta (Redtenbacher, 1867) = O.Expand
