This paper gives an overview of the interoperability standards for Electronic Healthcare Records (EHRs) which are offered by the world leading standard bodies: European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Health Level Seven (HL7) and Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM).
