La distinction entre musique artistique et musique traditionnelle est parfois difficile a appliquer dans l'etude de la musique latino-americaine, et le bambuco, genre musical colombien, en est une parfaite illustration. Son etude peut ainsi permettre d'apporter de nouveaux elements quant aux relations entre transmission par notation et par voie orale. De plus, le cas est d'autant plus interessant a analyser qu'il met bien en evidence la composition triculturelle de la societe latino-americaine…
