The goal of this work is to study the effectiveness (robustness, accuracy and speed) of an objective function in the context of seismic history matching; this aspect is the key component for a successful update of the reservoir model. Two main characteristics of the objective function are in focus: which seismic attributes should be matched to, and how to measure the matching.
