BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE After admission to the hospital of patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, we assessed the predictive value of the extent of the hemorrhage on computed tomography in addition to that of clinical grading scales for poor outcome, infarction, and rebleeding.
